Fairy Winterland Celebration (Children’s Fairyland)
During December, Children’s Fairyland is transformed into a Fairy Winter Wonderland! Featuring live performances celebrating holidays from many cultures, daily appearances by Santa Claus, special decorations and thousands of twinkling lights, rides, puppet shows, arts and crafts, free holiday treats, cider and hot cocoa, and more surprises.
Runs daily from Dec. 14 – 23, Noon – 7 pm.
Admission: $8.00 ages 1 – 100 (under age 1, free!)

Holiday ZooLights (Oakland Zoo)
Hundreds of thousands of LED lights brighten Oakland’s night sky. Highlights include a night-time adventure on the Outback Express train, rocking around the Christmas trees in the Children’s Zoo, and a festively decorated Reptile Room with mistletoe and all things jolly. Santa will be there, too.
5:30 – 9 pm nightly through Jan. 5 (closed Dec. 24 and 25)
Admission: $8.00 (adults), $7.00 (seniors and children). Parking is free.
